Pay: Day Rate (based on 10-hour Day) presented.
Site assignment includes staying in camp, and where designated.
- $225 Leave of Absence (LOA)/day if, not in camp or working away from home
- A leased vehicle will be provided for use during your stay at the site.
- For times when the use of a lease vehicle isn't available and requires the use of a personal vehicle, the following applies:
- $1/km regular use when required and not at the site
- $100/d minimum for on site use covering the 1st 100 kms, after 100 kms, revert back to $1/km.

Position Overview
- The Construction Completions & Turnover Specialist will be responsible for managing the technical interface between field contractors and the home office engineering team throughout construction, completion, turnover, commissioning, and start-up phases of a multi-discipline oil and gas project. This role ensures that installation, QA/QC, turnover, and commissioning documentation is accurately coordinated, validated, and accepted in alignment with project standards and regulatory requirements.
- The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing and executing smart completions processes, supporting field execution, reducing construction bottlenecks, and enabling safe system handover to Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical interface between field construction teams, engineering contractors, and home office engineering support
- Coordinate, develop, consolidate, and finalize completion and turnover documentation for multi-discipline systems
- Implement and manage a Smart Completions program (Hexagon or equivalent), including tracking RFIs, MOCs, QA/QC records, and turnover packages
- Develop and administer field Management of Change (MOC) processes, including RFI, Point and Do, and change tracking tools
- Oversee coordination of multi-discipline technical services support, including intermediate and senior discipline engineers
- Support construction teams by clarifying engineering drawings, resolving constructability issues, and removing execution roadblocks
- Assist in expediting materials and coordinating vendor deliverables to maintain schedule integrity
- Develop and implement ground disturbance and field control programs
- Ensure accurate control and maintenance of site documentation including:
- Construction permit tracking
- Site 3D model coordination
- Master control P&IDs
- Preservation and turnover records
• Support Operations teams during Safety In Transition (SIT) phases
• Participate in and support Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) in collaboration with Operations Engineering
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and project quality standards throughout turnover and commissioning phases
Required Experience & Qualifications
- • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction completions, turnover, or commissioning within Oil & Gas or heavy industrial environments
- Hands-on experience with Hexagon Smart Completions, SmartPlant, or equivalent QA/Completions platforms
- Strong understanding of construction QA/QC processes, turnover documentation, and commissioning workflows
- Experience managing RFIs, MOCs, and construction change processes
- Proven ability to coordinate between field execution teams and engineering stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of multi-disciplinary systems, including piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil
- Experience supporting PSSR and SIT processes
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on major capital Oil & Gas projects in Western Canada
- Familiarity with BC regulatory and safety requirements
- Experience in brownfield or greenfield facility construction
- Background in construction quality management systems
