Brainhunter is currently seeking the services of a “ Solution Architect” for a contract role with one of our Valued Clients.
Our client is looking for a Lead Solution Architect with deep experience in driving end-to-end modernization programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in environments where a modern front-end stack is layered over legacy back-end systems, with a proven ability to navigate that complexity. This includes defining strategies for integrating with legacy platforms, evolving architecture over time, and ultimately supporting the decommissioning of outdated systems.
From a technical standpoint, the role requires experience operating within a cloud-based architecture, with a strong emphasis on API-led design and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka). CIAM experience is a nice to have.
This individual will play a leadership role across the program, acting as the Lead Solution Architect working alongside 5–6 delivery teams and collaborating closely with other Solution Architects. A key part of the role will be to establish and enforce architectural guardrails, while also partnering with teams to guide solution design and ensure alignment across the program.
Industry experience in Financial Services or Insurance is strongly preferred, with Group Benefits or Retirement domain knowledge considered an asset.
Overall, the role requires someone who can combine strategic architectural thinking with hands-on guidance, ensuring successful delivery of a complex modernization initiative from end to end.
Enhanced Security Clearance required. Candidate must be interested to convert to perm.
