Security Solution Architect (#60877)

About the Job:
Mindwire is currently seeking a Security Solution Architect to work for our valued Crown Corporation client.

The position is Remote.
Contract Length – 2 years with 1 year optional renewal.
Working Hours – Full Time (37.5/week).

Responsibilities:

• Work with team to develop, architect, and provide guidance on security solutions in support of our Application Security Program including:
  • Security Testing Tools for application development (SCA, SAST, DAST)
  • Container Security (scanning, registries, orchestration, deployment)
  • Source Code Management (e.g. GitHub)
  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • Security in the Software Development Lifecycle
  • 3rd party library and package security
  • Secure Coding
  • Security Testing Tools
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD
  • Container Security
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Cloud Security (as it relates to Application Security) and Azure

• Support team in providing guidance on processes in support of defect tracking in the software development lifecycle
• Participate in various informational sessions as needed
• Other activities and deliverables, as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

• The Crown Corporations health and safety policies require that all individuals entering Crown premises or working onsite must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with vaccines approved for use in Canada. The Consultant will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to entering the premises.
• The Consultant(s) must have a smartphone as it will be required for second factor verification code to gain access to Crown applications.
• University degree or college diploma in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
• Demonstrated experience working in the field of Application Security or Software Development
• Secure Coding, DevSecOps, Container Security, CI/CD Security, Infrastructure as Code
• Demonstrated knowledge of application security, container security, SDLC, Jira and Confluence, and
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure)
